Networking Projects
During my job working for Lassen High School I have done many different networking projects.
New Building
I helped install CAT5 cabling (ethernet for computers, security cameras, and telephone) in a new two story building and setup the server room to run the entire system. The server room consists of 11 servers, networking equipment for the entire building and connections (via fiber) to all the other buildings on the campus. This included installing the cable into the ceilings, boxes in the wall, and into surface mount raceway for the classroom computer labs.

Classroom Conversion
Another computer lab was needed which meant a classroom had to be wired for around 30 computers. I helped install the surface mount raceway, install the cabling, setup the networking cabinet, and configure the switches.

Security Cameras
The new building needed security cameras and a power over ethernet solution was chosen. The cameras tied into the existing ethernet cabling and are controlled by a NAS server.

Telephone System
I have also helped install phone systems using new and existing CAT5 cabling.

Main Distribution Facilities
I have helped setup MDFs for each building for distribution of network, telephone, cable TV, and security cameras which uplink to the new building via fiber optic lines.
